Learn to Read Financial Markets Like a Second Language

Most people see charts as random noise. But patterns emerge when you know where to look. Our program teaches you to recognize those patterns, understand what drives them, and make better-informed decisions about your money. No mysticism, no shortcuts—just systematic observation and practical analysis.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Pattern Recognition Through Practice

We've noticed something over the years. People who succeed at trend analysis don't memorize formulas—they develop an eye for patterns. It's similar to learning a musical instrument. At first, everything looks complicated. But with guided practice, you start seeing connections you missed before.

Our approach centers on active learning. You'll work with real market data from the start, not simplified examples. We'll show you what to look for, walk you through the analysis process, then step back while you try it yourself. Mistakes happen. That's fine. Better to make them here than with real capital.

Think of it as learning to navigate by landmarks rather than GPS. Once you understand the underlying structure, you can adapt to changing conditions. That's the skill we're building.

Who's Teaching This Program

We've brought together people who've actually worked in financial analysis for years. Not theorists—practitioners who've made their share of mistakes and learned from them.

Tristan Valeridge

Senior Market Analyst

Spent fifteen years analyzing commodity markets for institutional clients. These days, Tristan focuses on teaching pattern recognition techniques that helped him spot market shifts before they became obvious. His sessions tend to be detail-oriented and challenging.

Mireia came from a background in statistical research before moving into financial analysis. She's particularly good at breaking down complex data relationships into understandable concepts. Students appreciate her practical examples and her patience with technical questions.

How the Program Works

The full program runs for twenty weeks, starting September 2025. We meet twice weekly for three-hour sessions—one lecture-based, one workshop-focused. Expect homework. You'll need to dedicate about six hours per week outside of class to keep up.

1

Foundation Building

Weeks 1-5

We start with market fundamentals and basic chart interpretation. You'll learn to identify common patterns, understand what they represent, and recognize their limitations. This phase moves quickly—we assume you're comfortable with basic mathematics and willing to ask questions when something doesn't make sense.

2

Technical Analysis Methods

Weeks 6-12

Here's where we dig into specific analytical techniques. Moving averages, momentum indicators, volume analysis, and trend confirmation methods. Each week introduces new tools, then you practice applying them to historical data. The goal isn't to memorize everything—it's to build a working toolkit you can adapt to different situations.

3

Real-World Application

Weeks 13-16

Now you'll work with current market conditions. We'll analyze recent trends together, discuss conflicting signals, and explore how professional analysts approach uncertainty. This phase can be frustrating because markets don't follow textbook patterns. That's the point—you need experience dealing with ambiguity.

4

Independent Projects

Weeks 17-20

The final phase centers on your independent analysis project. Choose a market sector, develop a research question, and conduct systematic analysis using the methods you've learned. You'll present your findings to the group and defend your conclusions. It's nerve-wracking, but it's the best way to solidify your understanding.

Our autumn intake opens for applications in May 2025. Class size is limited to sixteen participants to maintain the quality of workshop sessions. If you're interested, reach out early so we can discuss whether the program matches your learning goals.
